DMEM medium

DMEM medium (Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium) is a widely used basal medium obtained by increasing the content of certain amino acids and vitamins on the basis of Eagle medium, and supports the growth of various adherent mammalian cells. At present, DMEM medium is the preferred medium for primary fibroblasts, neuron cells, glial cells and smooth muscle cells, hybridoma cells, HeLa cells, COS-7 cells, HEK293 cells and other cell lines.
